"As I write this, I am waiting for the final body count of the El Paso Wal Mart Shootings.
The last I saw, there were forty injured and nineteen dead, and one man in custody. His identity has been confirmed as 21-year-old Patrick Cruisus, and he allegedly left a white supremacist manifesto. Somehow, the police managed to take him alive and uninjured.
I greatly respect people who say we mustn’t share pictures, or say the name, or discuss the motives of the killer. I wish I could stop thinking about the killer entirely. The killer is a despicable coward who challenges my opposition to the death penalty. I’d far rather spend my time commemorating the victims and the heroic people who rushed to stop this.
But the fact is, those innocent people became victims for a reason, and it is in our best interest to understand that reason– out of respect for the victims, and in order to prevent further victims.

Sure, it’s possible that this whole manifesto is made up. Maybe it was a different Patrick Cruisus. Maybe he really did write that, but something else set him off"

As it should be. Once again the hate groups, especially the white nationalist, are coming out of their swamp and showing their ugly faces. This has always been with us, it is just that they have become more embolden in the [past few years.

Let’s not forget about the weekly mass body counts from Chicago and Baltimore. Basically these combine to kill a lot more people and are routinely swept under the rug so people can’t see them.

I guess because it’s saying something Personnal about someone. The thing about texting and/or social media is we can’t hear inflection in someone’s voice or judge their body language, so it always has us on guard.SFC Thomas Foreman

SFC Thomas Foreman - I believe we're all a bit on edge in the society we're living in today. Think about it: Our President charged by people in responsible positions with being a Russian asset, a good honest judge charged with gang rape by political activists... I can go on and on but I won't bore you. The point is all these charges with no basis, false charges just to destroy people who one personally disagrees with. This win at any cost is tearing our country apart. What was it the former Speaker said when he got caught lying about Senator Cain: Well we won. Some answer, when one can lie on the Congress Floor. I'm really getting sick of it, and when people like me take time to start speaking out, you know it's really gotten bad.
The Left has no corner on the market in caring about others. To the contrary they typically put on a good show of having compassion for others, until one really looks at their policies and realize typically they hurt the ones they say they want to help. Sorry for going on so long and venting. I am prone to self reflection and think much about the conditions of our people. I believe I got it out of my system for another couple months. :)
