People that really don't study Scripture will say what they want to say and believe what they care to believe. Agreeing with anything must take careful studying to support opinion or facts. Most won't study Scripture and side with those who carry their opinions.

It SMSgt Dr. G. A. Thomas We have a very bad habit of believing what the man standing behind the pulpit says. And a lot of good sermons do not come from the scriptures.

Both of your comments highlight the importance of knowing exactly what is in the Scripture and what is not. If you really know what is actually in the Bible, it makes it much easier when discussing issues from a Biblical basis. It also helps if you need to refute a doctrine not found in the Bible. For Christians, it's not our opinions that matter--it's what God says that does.
