From a major trauma in combat, to heartbreak or loss of a loved one to a serious illness, accidents, or professional setback, life can lob you some serious curveballs.
Certain factors, like your home life and strength of your social network, can help determine how quickly you’ll bounce back. But what also matters is what you do in the days, weeks, months, and even years following a traumatic event. These actions set the tone for how quickly and effectively you steer yourself back from disaster.
If you’ve found yourself smacked in the face by reality, hang on. With this some healthy advice, you can begin to get back on the right track, even when you feel like everything is falling apart.

Very inspirational narrative. How many can look into Hell and not panic? War is hell. You can either run from your fear, or stand firm and face it. In most of us, however, the well of courage is limited.

War, life, living can be hell for many people unable to cope with certain problems. How we face our problems, whatever they are, comes from within the person. Coping skills can be learned or developed within but it is never easy. Col. Burroughs phone meetings are an inspiration for all who phone in. You might get only one small idea that awakens the missing part inside of your mind that finds that solution you have searched for.
