The weird thing is that Sen. Webb, and he may have at least thought of it, could have touted his war service and his time as a congressional staffer when Ford was president, and his service in the Reagan Administration in a run for the Republican nomination.
That he did –not- should speak to the Dems. But I post on Dem FB pages and all they can say is: HE’S NOT PROGRESSIVE!! WE WANT PROGESSIVES!! To which I say, if anyone gets elected, it will because the ‘progressive’ card is one they don’t show.
