LTC (Join to see) - But I see more conservatives posting about her than environmentalists. If anything she seems more like the poster child of climate change deniers.

Call me crazy, but I'm thinking that there is a bit of a language barrier at play here. Miss Thunberg speaks English well, but any second language will not pick up on the subtleties of sarcasm and satire. Reporter guy clearly has an agenda, as does Miss Thunberg.
It is perfectly valid to ask who is financing her travel to Calgary - or anywhere else where she seems to pop up. Bringing up China or Saudi Arabia is a red herring, and not relevant to the real question of who paid for her (carbon emitting) plane ride to Canada and on who's behalf will she be speaking.
The answer to that question would likely be informative. Knowing who profits from things almost always leads to the real truth.
