I agree, and I have no idea why, other than voting population is so small. MAJ Javier Rivera

SN Donald Hoffman depends. For instance, Puerto Rico’s population is about 3.2 millions, which place the tiny island in about 30th place when it comes in population ranking. Which in theory place (if a state) 2 senators and about 5-6 representatives in the house. Perhaps that the problem!!!! Neither party want to allocate those potentially seats in the opposition... so screw them!

You are correct, that has been the argument. Make them States or no support at all other than disaster relief.
That in itself brings the State hood issue up close. If we are providing disaster relief, should we not be looking at a State hood issue?
I know it is a very thin, almost invisible argument. I still feel it is high time they are considered for State hood.

The Congress needs the funding for their newest voters (aka: Illegal Immigrants) so will be removing money from a LOT of programs for US Citizens. Wouldn't doubt that VA gets cuts as well as the newest voters have already been given SS benefits even though they NEVER paid into it.
