Interesting share, given their size I've never been able to understand why Russian agriculture has been so historically unable to feed the country.

LtCol Jack you spent time in the Red River Valley and the way it produces. In the 1880's this area was a big swamp. Now it's drained and will raise just about anything. It did take a lot on grit to get it done, people living in sod shacks burning buffalo chips for heat and cooking. I guess it's called drive if you didn't have it, you died.
