There are a couple problems with socialist economies. The motto tends to be according to your abilities and your needs. Abilities in a socialist economy tends to be equal reward regardless of hard work and innovation. Needs is problematic as people have different needs.

The other problem is central markets are not efficient at supply and demands. Capitalism is the most efficient way to fulfill supply and demand.

Good article. Those promoting Socialism over Capitalism have a complete lack of understanding of Socialism.
