When you hate our President so much, they prefer a designated terrorist, they are truly sick. These scum have no shame, all our SM killed and injured, not to mention thousands of civilians.

I don't want war with Iran; however, when Iran puts their forces in the battle zone they are fair game. I don't hear the international community saying our soldiers or NATO soldiers should not be targeted under the laws of war.
I am just looking for the press and people to be logically consistent. It can't be OK under Obama and not OK because it is Trump or visa versa. The typical partisan response is what we see by the major media and it is wrong.

Funny how this reminds me of the Cold War. Call it what you like, we were at war with the Soviet Union beginning with the end of WWII. We called it many things. We used "containment", "detente", etc., but didn't win until President Reagan treated it as war. The same thing has been going on in the Middle East ever since President Carter knocked the props from under the Peacock Throne. President Trump is the first to treat it as war and now we have a chance of concluding it. Of course, not much progress will be made until following the 2020 elections and then only if President Trump is reelected. Until then, our enemies will hunker down and wait for the Democrats to do their work for them.

Additionally, we didn’t ‘win’ the Cold War until the USSR decided to engage in an untimely Afghan-war. We didn’t win until oil prices took a sh*t in the mid 1980s. We didn’t win until the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl.

President Reagan being president played an important role, for sure. However, if Carter, Ford or Nixon were still President in the 80s, the Soviet Union was still going to fall. On the other hand, with Reagan as President and the Soviet-Afghan war, oil/economic crunch and Chernobyl didn’t happen, it’s hard to argue that the policies of his administration alone would have forced the Soviet Union to fall.

The USSR was a dead man walking since before the death of Comrade Leonid. It was just waiting for someone to clothesline it.
