“Why is the president threatening Iran with war crimes?” George Stephanopoulos asked Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on ABC’s This Week on Sunday. It’s a rather stunning question in and of itself. But Pompeo basically refuted President Donald Trump’s threat to attack Iranian cultural sites, answering, “We’ll behave lawfully.”

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel my being on the outside looking in, I would rather think that President Trump should rethink the whole social media thing and not do it. Just the same as mainstream media, statements can be used as distractions while the real enemies and dangers operate steathly. I genuinely believe that the general population should not know the "situation room" thoughts.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel it would be a hoot if something he said, then did was charged as a war crime equal to Hitler and he skated. I think that would send the World Court reeling.
