Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "NGC 602 and Beyond." Located near the Small Magellanic Cloud, star cluster NGC 602 is only an estimated 5 million years old. The Hubble, Chandra (x-ray), and Spitzer (infrared) space telescopes each contributed to this composite image. The view here is believed to be 200 light years across. The galaxies in the background...hundreds of millions of light years distant. 'Sublime' only begins to describe the view.

Good Saturday afternoon, Maj William W. 'Bill' Price - WOW!!!!!!!! What a magnificent image of this part of the Milky Way Galaxy!!!!!! Awesome! In my short research I could not find any thing that directly parallels your APOD except for the Podcast on the same APOD, Bill, but I did find a relatively short video that is quite intriguing relating to where the Hubble telescope was aimed and the photos it captured for mankind's records and knowledge... I will post that as a separate adjunct video as I have done in the past...
