I say shut the whole border down, except ports of entry. But, that's in the works. This is the only way we can reduce that problem.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - If we make the rest of the border less porous, personnel can be redirected to the ports of entry and more of the contraband will be interdicted. I also support placing armed national guard on the border to replace the ICE personnel that were redirected, and giving the guardsmen the power to detain any that might try to cut through or otherwise breech the wall.

I'm with you on this one. All the way. I cannot believe the theft of children in northern Mexico to help thwart our border is not a constant thing in the news, but it isn't. Then many of those children, too young to explain they've been stolen, are sold to the kiddie porn makers and raped. Unreal.
