Down right interesting as to whose hearts and minds they were aiming at... not exactly a way to win more than short term..... but that focus was on the Russian population and not the Chechens!

Interesting read, and some may call it alarmist, but I can see echos of this right here at home, especially "culture-centric warfare" and use of proxies like Kadyrov who, on the surface, opposed Russia but "shared a special relationship with Putin".
