If you have to go to a gym to train for the test we should probably re-evaluate if this test is really what the Army needs.

Interesting. Have you seen any official guidance? I have some free time this morning so I might try to track it down.

SSG (Join to see) - That’s all I can find as well so far. It says testing is suspended until further notice but doesn’t say anything delaying full implementation in OCT. Military.com has been known to jump to conclusions based on limited info before and this might be another example.

CPT (Join to see) - Seems likely, the story published to military.com at roughly the same time as FRAGO 16 was uploaded to the G 3/5/7 portal, I suspect that is the basis for the article. I circled back around to the implementation order for the ACFT, there had been no updates since FRAGO 8 in december.

"Army leadership has suspended its plan to start using the new Army Combat Fitness Test as its test of record this October, confirmed Army spokeswoman Lt. Col. Robin Ochoa."
