This is truly horrible, to carelessly perform their duties, they should not only strip them of their license, they should also face possible jail time. Medical professionals are supposed to some of the most technically sounded and ethically based individuals, stuff like this should not happen.

2LT Andre, How True.. All Down-hill, at least for the past 40 years.. We are failing our Active Military, and our Veterans !! I keep hoping Congress receives enough Pressure from the people to stop the continued abuse, and then hold the VA accountable for every dime !!

Despicable. I can't even imagine being in that situation, one can only hope that they are able to rig up some system for him to interact with the world at large through his limited mobility, similar to how Dr Hawking can.
