Why Tuesday was the most important (and scary) day of the coronavirus fight so far

Not downplaying the deaths but making money puts food on the table and pays the bills so I would say it’s pretty important, right? Some people don't make enough money on unemployment to pay all their bills and sure some banks are allowing postponing payments but that will only last so long. What about those who pay rent? Rental home owners cant afford to allow renters to live rent free especially if electric and water are included in rent. So what do you suggest?
