Coronavirus infections are rising in Germany, official data shows, just days after the country eased its lockdown restrictions.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), Germany's reproduction rate - the number of people each confirmed patient infects - is now above 1.
This means the number of infections is now rising in the country.
The report came as thousands of Germans gathered on Saturday calling for a total end to the lockdown.

We are screwed and I will state why.
- Trump is foolishly telling the country that testing makes it look bad.
- Testing is state-centric. That means the federal health officials will not actively support state testing with standardizations, supplies, and protocols.
- The US has dozens of tests which often are administered differently and have different effectiveness as valid tests. Also, our capacity to test relative to the population is miniscule.
In summary if we focus on the economy the pandemic will grow. If we focus on the pandemic the economy will sink further. I think this will be the final nail in Trumps reelection coffin.

Yup it's bound to happen. It's not going to just disappear. S.Korea has had a spike as well after easing lockdown. They actually traced it to one guy partying in Itaewon area of Seoul. They've shut down restaurants and bars again.
