Last night I watched a documentary on D-Day. Apparently Hitler's doctor was pumping him up with cocaine and heroine. Hitler was erratic and delusional. He had a conclave of generals and nobody wanted to tell him the truth. While the allies were invading Normandy, nobody wanted to wake up Hitler. I was snickering as I watched the documentary thinking damn that's just like Trump.

It's not just the President. Everyone is dividing America up. We have become a country of "if you aren't with me you are against me". We have stopped listening and just started yelling louder when someone doesn't fully agree with our point of view. Political "leaders" have turned to name-calling, bullying, and pretty much saying "fine, if you don't pick me first, I'm taking my ball home and telling mommy". The political landscape has turned into the biggest sandlot baseball game ever. And until we, the people, start setting the example and showing our political leaders how to work together, it will only get worse. We need to find a way to come together and start working with each other rather than against each other or cutting out those that don't fully agree with our point of view.
