Since many of us have our smiles hidden by masks...this is more critical than ever. I find that when I am masked and working the blood drive screening table I search for the other person's eyes and I try to make my welcoming smile reflect there. Sometimes it is tough to make eye contact as a number of our donors are new and nervous...I hope my eye contact, non verbals and voice both connect and reassure them.
