I expect that you have exercised initiative in planning and action fueled by an inclination to solve challenges and perhaps improving process times and effectiveness in military or government service and/or turning a financial profit in the private sector. I expect that you are aware that God created our soul in an imperfect reflection of the perfect spirit nature of God. Through common grace, God has enabled humans to solve problems and pass that information and technology to subsequent generations. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit dwells with the soul of each of God’s adopted sons and daughters and HE prompts us to serve others actively by action including prayer and passively by patiently listening Steven.
I pray that you and I exercise initiative to assist others in solving issues by providing our allotted resources of time, talent, and treasure in accordance with the specific guidance of the Holy Spirit. Empower each one of YOUR adopted children who reads this, to exercise wisdom, great listening skills, with a cheerful attitude, my brother-in-Christ 1SG Steven Imerman.
LORD I lift the entrepreneurs whose businesses have been devastated by looting and vandalism; the entrepreneurs whose business has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 rules and risk; and those recent graduates of high school, technical school and college who graduated remotely to YOU. I pray that YOU use each one of us who are called by YOUR name to infuse hope into each of these people as YOU unleash hope to those in desperate need.
I pray that the local, county, state, province, and national economies of the relatively free nations will not only recover but will become more efficient and effective before the end of this year. I pray that those nations which in good faith offered stimulus packages will recoup those expenditures through business and individual tax revenues without a need to raise taxes.
I pray that YOU bless local, village, town, county, city, province, state, and if possible national government leaders, councils and legislatures with wisdom and a proper sense of priority to become more efficient and effective in governance throughout the relatively free world including Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Central and South America.
I pray for judicious wisdom and leadership in towns, counties, cities, and states as they reflect on the peaceful protests and the unnecessary violence which accompanied far too many. I pray that governments will rightly divide responsibilities among law enforcement, city service, social service, and other government functions. I pray that neighborhood policing will expand, and that trust will be restored between police and the citizens they are charged with protecting.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Tuesday night.
