Following the positive reception of its earlier social media broadcasts on understanding the VA job application process and using LinkedIn effectively, VA Careers recently launched a weekly broadcast series on its LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter channels beginning this month. The 10-minute broadcasts, hosted by VA Program Specialist Michael Owens, features a different topic each week, followed by a live question-and-answer session with the audience. At the end of the month, the series will spotlight a guest speaker in a longer interview-style format. He's got my vote. And I'm going to add here that the Medical Services Officer that's on the same ship I'm on, is actually going to leave MSC to work for the VA.
