1. He was a Dixiecrat. 2. He ran as an Independent. 3. Trump’s father and Trump were notable Democrats. 4. Trump running as a Republican didn’t change his 1930s style Nationalism platform. In fact GOP embraced it; thus the neo-Nazi and KKK support seen at MAGA rallies and White Nationalist counter protesters at a Liberal rally. Nah. I can’t see the resemblance at all.
