I have no problem with any opinion. I only have a problem when our fearless leaders allow anarchy to reign in the streets. Antifa, BLM, et al can cling to whatever opinions they want. However, they have no right to riot in the streets to force me or anyone else to submit to their wishes.

As for the propaganda that PO1 William "Chip" Nagel and MSG Stan Hutchison have been sharing in their fit of mutual admiration, no sane person is believing it. Antifa is "Antifascist" and BLM is for "Black Lives" in the same way that The Democratic People's Republic of China is "Democratic", a "Republic", or a government "of, by, and for the People".

SGT Edward Wilcox - I already explained my ignorance. I'm looking for help here. But if you, like me, have no basis for describing Hitler as a conservative, I'm good with that...

SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" I'm not going to allow biased members to call fellow members "brainwashed" because they don't like the facts. If he can't dispute the facts without disparaging other members, then he doesn't belong on this site.

CPT Jack Durish - Hitler was racist, anti-Semitic, anti-communist, anti-socialist, nationalistic, a social conservative. He emulated Mussolini. Hitler was, at his core, a fascist. Fascism is an extreme conservative ideology. Any cursory review of history shows that Hitler's political leaning was, very much, to the right, despite the language he used to draw people to his cause.

If neither label applies, then maybe you can explain why, and what other label you would use? In the meantime, please review these sources, all explaining how Hitler was, indeed, a conservative:

The big problem I have with these types of opinions isn't that Antifa, BLM, etc are not perfect, I agree with that. That is to say we can tie back some rioting and beatings to groups within those movements at the most, but they don't seem to be killing people. To start going on about the "alt-Left" and Antifa/BLM and ignoring the "alt-Right" and boogaloo boys and other various far right militia groups actually killing or being caught plotting to kill people defies reason outside of a jaded political lens.

Yeah riots, beatings, property damage, are all bad. I get it, that's not what we want. You know what's a lot worse? Murdering people.

My thoughts exactly, Kevin. Depending on one's political affiliation, the tendency is to believe the worst about the other side, and ascribe the activities of the extremists to the body of the whole. Both sides are guilty of this practice. People on the extreme left, do and say things that harm the efforts of the rest of the people on the left.....as do the people on the extreme right, doing things and saying things that harm the efforts of the rest of the people on the right. Fact is.....most people lean toward the center, a little left of center, or a little right of center. The extremists do all of us a disservice.

Former antifa organizer Scott Crow:

The idea in Antifa is that we go where they (right-wingers) go. That hate speech is not free speech. That if you are endangering people with what you say and the actions that are behind them, then you do not have the right to do that. And so we go to cause conflict, to shut them down where they are, because we don't believe that Nazis or fascists of any stripe should have a mouthpiece.

Sounds pretty good to me.
