Good morning Col Burroughs, wishing you much success with this fundraiser. Can't wait to hear about it.
It isn't the ship that you are given to sail (or row) it is the skill with which you do it. We all have equipment with limitations, we all see obstacles in our paths but the key is how do you handle them? Do you keep your eyes focused on your goals? Do you steer carefully or recklessly? What's your style of managing the changes, the ebb and flow, the tides that all life has? We may not be able to change much about what equipment we're given but the rest is up to us.

I hope that are spiritually mature enough to demonstrate wisdom from the successes and more importantly the failures you have been involved in your walk of life thus far. I expect that you treat others as you would like to be treated most of time. Hopefully, you have ‘humbled your heart and not lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven’ [modified excerpt from Daniel 5: 22-23] ‘For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.'
