Yuppers! My point exactly. Keep it neat, and keep the talent. I can vouch first hand that it in actuality would not negatively impact the use of a gas mask or a Navy Oxygen Breathing Apparatus (OBA) used in shipboard firefighting. We had quite a few guys with “no shave chits” for getting badly irritated skin from a nice shave (I guess not so nice for them :) and the fit was just fine. Like you said, as long as it’s neatly groomed and professional looking as opposed to a bushy jungle, than why not! As always, thanks for the comment Lt Col Charlie Brown! Be well!

Hope there is never a chem/bio attack where he serves. Gas mask will never seal with that. :o
