So given the nature of Trevors work in the Marines, he’s well aware of how to act in other countries. Especially in places like russia.
What pisses me off is how fucked their “judicial” system is.
Granted I’ve been spoiled by the US, knowing the full details of the case and everything that happened should have been pretty cut and dry not guilty.
Trevors got some stones though
"I think it would be unethical and immoral to plead guilty to a crime I didn't commit," he said in his closing statement on the eve of the trial's verdict. "If I am going to be given a prison sentence, I'd rather stay in prison than walk free tomorrow a liar and a coward."

His reason for going to Russia: “ He went to Moscow last year to learn Russian and visit his Russian girlfriend” seems absurd.

Sgt Jesus Rodriguez Perspective. Amazing what a Russian "Swallow" can do. I Handled the Debrief Messages on SGT Clayton Lonetree.

Every time I read something about American getting in trouble in an unfriendly country my first reaction is "Why would you be there in the first place? You should have known better!" Never catch me over there! Screwed up as it is, I'll take the American judicial system over any country.
