This is not a new problem at Ft Hood or ANY military base.

Here's Ft Hood:
Mar 2020 - https://www.kcentv.com/article/news/local/6-fort-hood-soldiers-14-total-arrested-in-prostitution-sting/500-50536a9e-d39c-4274-8578-206e65d634b3

Mar 2015 - The base VA who got caught running a prostitution ring: https://www.expressnews.com/news/local/article/Fort-Hood-sergeant-admits-he-pimped-soldiers-6129091.php

And the Army failed to report his conviction and he was able to be a foster parent: https://www.newsweek.com/armys-failure-allowed-military-pimp-foster-parent-745599

JBLM:
Mar 2019: https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/crime/article227221539.html

Feb 2019: https://mynorthwest.com/1282886/sexual-predator-sting-state-patrol-jblm/

Dec 2019: https://www.wsp.wa.gov/2019/12/23/55645/

Ft Riley: 2016, 2018

So it's everywhere (as I hope most people know) but I don't think people truly realize the scope of it and how much military members are involved with sex trafficking, prostitution rings, etc.

How many are making actual contact with real minors?

MSG Andrew Whitish - Are you serious? The fact is that they were planning to meet minors. They thought they were talking to minors. That's why they do these stings. To CATCH them BEFORE they can abuse a minor.

How is that hard to understand?

SFC (Join to see) there is just too much going on at Hood. If it isn't one things, its another. I was reading the CG's transfer is being delayed as they investigate his leadership. I spent a year and a half there in 1972 after Vietnam and I dont remember any of the problems they are having today.

This stuff is around every base though - not just Hood.

It's the Deputy CG who had his PCS to Bliss postponed.

I was there from 92-96, we had deaths, nothing new. The amount of people both military and civilian is huge. Ft. Hood is a city unto itself. I was an MP and traffic accident investigator and responded to domestics, roll overs, fatalities, DWI's, child abuse, lost kids, child neglect, gangs, drive by and this was when the post was wide open with no gates, no passes ect. It was always hoppen and poppen and you never knew what was gonna happen from one day to the next. The CG's is just a scapegoat. SSG (Ret) MP
