Have to agree with the Liberals on the goal but not the timeline. Vote by mail and by Internet can be done via technology very easily and we should move towards that as a country and stop this standing in line BS that we have been doing since 1776. Just think of the savings in time and the small boost to GDP from the increase in productivity. I don't agree we can get it done by this fall nor do I think we should tinker with the current system before this fall.

PO1 Robert Payne Then I see no reason for all the mail in votes if we can just modify the election schedule. Would that take an act of Congress? I don't believe November 3rd is a constitutional controversy is it?

PO1 Robert Payne I know delaying the voting takes a congressional act but I meant making it early. As you said october 2ed to November 3rd. I didn't know if such an idea would need to be approved by Congress.
