Guard and some Reserve unit's are know for their "good ole boy" networks which makes it difficult to trust the system especially for a new or outsider (not one of the gang).

What I saw was the full time staff being the worst part of that problem and having a M day commander trying to discipline a full timer was very "difficult", to say the least. A big part of the reason that I left (no, I wasn't sexually harassed).
