NRA members need to send WLP and his cronies packing, and with NO "golden-parachute", in order to start restoring trust in the organization. In addition, the NRA needs to start playing hardball against gun-control laws and proposals.

The misinformation has reached points where it pretty disgusting I know even as a kid the role of the NRA and I got a number of shooting medals for NRA Marksmanship target sessions mostly with a .22 rifle. We did learn how to safely use and handle firearms and never had any mishaps or improper use. I've always owned firearms and working Law Enforcement for over 40 years carried and used them at work. I'm a current member of the NRA and intend to remain so. Its too bad We as responsible gun owners have to defend ourselves from the attacks on our rights from people that are just too ignorant to understand what the NRA and legitimate gun owners are all about. There are millions of us that do obey the law and are responsible in our handling of firearms. If they choose not to have firearms that's fine, if they are that poorly versed I fear they well may be dangerous if the did have access to them. I don't need them imposing on My 2nd Amendment rights though and they offer constant proof why We need the protection of that amendment to the US Constitution. The NRA is and always has been about gun safety and proper use of firearms and our individual rights !
