This virus is not going away any time soon and certainly not within the time line suggested by our President. Even the idea of herd immunity is in question given the documented reinfections in a number of locations throughout the world

In 326 BC Alexander the Great entered India. He won some minor battles but was engaged in a large battle with one of the regional kings. In their largest battle the Macedonians faced cavalry, infantry, and war elephants. It was a fierce battle which Alexander won but it was costly. Intelligence told Alexander that a great Indian King had 4000 war elephants. His army essentially rebelled. They were nursed wounds, were tired, and missing home. That ended the India Campaign.
