APOD: 2020 October 26 - Reflections of the Ghost Nebula

Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Reflections of the Ghost Nebula." The Ghost Nebula is also designated as Sh2-136 and VdB 141 in other astronomy catalogs. Lying some 1,200 light years away in the constellation Cepheus, this reflection nebula contains stars in their earliest stages of formation (hence the brownish glow). This ghost hovers near the Iris Nebula (NGC 7023), also in the constellation of Cepheus. I expect we will see some other ghosts make an appearance here before this week is up.
