It ends up being my primary carry pistols. It's light, easily concealable and with modern ammo, more that adequate. It's been reliable right out of the box, doesn't seem to have any ammo dislikes and goes bang when you pull the trigger. I carry it either in a DeSantis pocket holster or a Sneaky Pete belt rig. I have the original LCP, one of these days I will upgrade to the LCP II for the last shot hold open and the better trigger.
The only downsides is that the pistol is not fun to shoot. The .380 is not a powerhouse cartridge, but in that small and light of a pistol, it has a substantial recoil. When I first got mine, .380 ammo was harder to find (of course, all ammo is hard to find right now), but since then the popularity of the cartridge has grown and it seems to be more available.
I use Hornady Critical Defense when I carry. Usually practice with hardball because it is about half the cost.
