I hope it passes. The sooner California gets to the bottom of the barrel, the sooner they will wise up. Then the other 49 will be able to see the natural consequences of progressive economic and social theory.
California will be forced to remove the government teat from the mouths of the unproductive. There will be blood. The civil chaos will drive the productive to flee the state, further hastening the collapse. Then at some point the remaining Californians will come to their senses. Adult leadership will rise to the helm and California will become a Red State. It won't happen in my lifetime. But it will happen.

Why should they wise up now? None of the other idiocy has motivated them to get smart. No, I expect that the human capacity to adapt to even the most exigent conditions will insure California's descent into utter chaos (which is why we're getting the hell outta here)
