Read the article. One of its citations mentioned about how AirBnB received forwarded information about a tweet from a Proud Boys member who attended a previous event. Some of the rioters have not been quiet and actually exposed themselves on social media

LTC Eugene Chu I do know in conversations that proTrump supporters point out that they did not burn and loot, they are having their platforms to speak, squelched. But Black Lives Matter are getting a lot of press, those that care to speak are given media time, and the demonstrators are burning doen their own communities and others communities. I think that discussions are at a place where I am not knowledgeable to weigh in, so I will pay attention to the information that is traveling.
