I have always got a kick out of how the Crusades are vilified as the most horrible thing ever. They were typical medieval warfare, not better or no worse than most others. The people holding these views are always slack jawed or frankly disbelieving when told the Crusades were not the worst thing that happened to Islam during that time frame. The Mongol invasions destroying Khwarazmia, other central and southwestern Asian Muslim entities, and the Abbasid Caliphate itself, are totally unknown to these gizmos.

The other thing about the Crusades is Charles Martel stopped the Islamic invasion of Europe in at the Battle of Tours in 732 after Muslims had invaded and conquered Spain in 711.. The first Crusade was 1069. So after attempting to conquer So after 300 years of battling a Muslim invasions Europe goes after the seat of Islam and the Muslims are shocked? Really? This is similar to saying England invading mainland Europe was aggression against the NAZIS.

Not to mention our Founding Fathers had to deal with those Muslim Pirates and did NOT do a very good job of it. They Paid them off! Starting another long standing tradition in Goverment.... Good Grief!!

Could be, but Christians didn't need instructions in other parts of the world, they burned how many at the stake in England?

Those were not Christians. They were what Thomas Jefferson rebelled against, not God.
"The clergy converted the simple teachings of Jesus into an engine for enslaving mankind and adulterated by artificial constructions into a contrivance to filch wealth and power to themselves...these clergy, in fact, constitute the real Anti-Christ."
Thomas Jefferson
Jesus Christ had this to say.
Matthew 7: 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

PO1 Sam Deel - Yeah, they were Christians. Just because you don't like that they make Christianity look bad doesn't mean you get to exclude them from the group.
