It won't be long before the environmentalists start attacking wind and solar. It takes between 17.5 and 750 times the land mass for wind and solar to generate the same amount of electricity that is produced by coal, oil, gas, and nuclear. From a land developers stand point solar is a poor alternative use and covers the habitats for plants and animals. Wind turbines are noisy, they are a hazard for birds and an eye sore. Wind only works where the wind blows. Solar requires sunshine. I know, I have a wonderful grasp for the obvious, but I am not sure that I can say the same for the current administration's energy policy. Maybe we should just go back to candles and horses?

All of what you say is the Gospel truth Sir. That being said, there is a place for wind and solar energy, but not at the scale they are proposing. MHO
