Good article. It appears there was a total failure of the policies and procedures of the company hired to maintain Texas’s power grid. This is the Achilles’ heel of renewable (intermittent) energy, it relies on the grid to work as a super battery for it to work. When the conventional power is down so is intermittent energy. As the overall percentage of intermittent energy in the power grid goes up, the reliability of the power grid goes down.
