Videos secretly recorded by Princess Latifa, a daughter of Dubai's ruler, have been obtained by the BBC's Panorama programme. She sent them to friends after her failed escape attempt from the Middle East emirate in 2018.
Twenty years ago, her sister Princess Shamsa, also tried to escape the ruling family, while staying in the UK. The governments of Dubai and the UAE have failed to respond to requests for comment from the BBC about Latifa's current condition.

At times, when children are given full freedom they do things that can hurt the family and royalty never appreciates such suffering. This is why their princess has been kept out of the public eye, but the princess mistakes this to be a human rights issue, which it is not. The culture in the west differs from those cultures of the east, yet there is a culture in-between that stitches the west and the east together. Let us leave the freedom of Latifah to her royal family.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, bi-polar personalities can live a very healthy and productive life, only if they can learn to control their alter egos; their extreme personality. Latifah may be bi-polar as her family says, which is why Latifah is going against her own father. The Sheikh will not have his own daughter removed from public eye, unless his daughter was into bad conduct. After all, it is royalty we are discussing Chip.

This is a rather old case finally getting some press now. Her older sister Princess Shamsa also suffered a similar fate and hasn't been seen in over 20 years. Her stepmother Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain has also fled and is in London. Second guy from the right is the man in question - he's filthy rich with a net worth of around 14 billion dollars. This guy lives a James Bond villain life, massive yacht with submarine and all and most expensive wedding every - over $100 million. Crazy rich Asians come to mind. Just proves money can't buy hippieness. On an interesting note she is a very accomplished skydiver - instructor rated.
