SSgt (Join to see) SMSgt David A Asbury The Biden/Democrat-ruled government will oversee the choices of private entities rather than give them the freedom to decide for themselves- just smacks of Democrat BHO forcing schools to accommodate trans bathroom choice, no matter if it hurt others, and forcing religious businesses to fund abortion insurance— or lose federal funding.

What’s dangerous about this current govt wanting to regulate programs, companies and citizens in general is that the Dem govt is powering a vicious campaign of discrimination against Conservatives, America-first, Trump supporters, law enforcement / military, gun owners, the White population in general.
So their “oversight” / regulation of Americans doesn’t bode well for the majority of Americans.

BS SSgt Cynthia Hamilton, there us no new program.

This us simply an “end anything Trumo” no matter it’s usefulness, relevance, or effectiveness.

There us no need for the past (and now current) level of oversight on apprenticeship programs.

How could you say they all were counted when we have video, bipartisan reports of events, and thousands of affidavits that show conservatives, or all poll watchers are told to leave SSgt Cynthia Hamilton?

LCpl Leo Morrissey - Thank you for your straight-talking conserv comments!
“ Biden and Harris didn't win one single popular vote. They were told to hide and keep their mouths shut while they made sure all the people with TDS voted against Trump. ...These Marxists didn't just rig the vote, the US media played their part the past 4 years by publishing every unsubstantiated, conspiracy theory the Democrats could think of to accuse Trump in their effort at insurrection to remove him from office.” True!
Thankfully, Leo, Liberal Americans are starting to feel the pain...my husband’s Biden-supporting friends just realized that Biden overturned Trump’s EO on capping insulin costs: instead of $100 something, they are now being charged $400 something.

Trump didn't create apprenticeship programs, he just created a new program without any oversight. Federal money being sent to private entities without oversight pretty much always leads to fraud waste and abuse. It's that oversight that Biden is restoring.

"The Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Program created as a result of Trump’s order has been criticized by Democrats, who warned that it did not allow the government to properly oversee the programs it was funding for quality control and effectiveness.

The White House argues that the program has “fewer quality standards” than registered apprenticeship programs that are overseen by the Labor Department. Biden’s Wednesday executive action will direct the agency to issue a rulemaking to dismantle the Trump-era program and reinstate a National Advisory Committee on Apprenticeships to provide guidance to the agency.

Biden instead is endorsing Democrats’ National Apprenticeship Act, which passed the House with bipartisan support earlier this month. That bill would expand registered apprenticeship, youth apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs, an effort that Democrats say will create nearly 1 million new job training opportunities and generate billions of dollars in benefits for taxpayers."

It doesn't seem that Biden doesn't feel these programs are necessary or worth investing in. He just seems to have a different vision for carrying them out. That's the problem with executive orders.

You think the solution to fraud, waste, and abuse is creating and empowering more bureaucratic workers in the federal government?

No, private enterprises should not be allowed to run rampant with federal money, with no oversight or accounting. But that is not what Trump's policy created. It created a way for private enterprises to identify what they needed in their specific field. It created the opportunity for the PEOPLE to tell government what skills were urgently needed, and what apprenticeships were valuable. Biden has (effectively) said "screw the people, they don't know what they really need. That is government's job - we will TELL you what you want."

Trump only directed to reduce, not eliminate oversight.

We help companies setup DOL Approved Apprenticeship programs. Effectively there was no difference. To gain DOL approval you had to follow the standards; additionally, the industries who want apprentices, need them to be able to get certified and produce; reduced government oversight and shifting control to the certification agencies produces commonality of the apprentice to worker product.
