When I see a story like this, it makes me wonder... WHAT are they not telling the public or anyone for that matter? Getting Covid is now a full on denial and disqualification to serve... PERIOD...
It's a freaking virus just like the FLU or hundreds of other viruses. There is something very wrong with this scenario if just getting the thing, even if you 'recover' or don't get sick, makes it now a full on rejection from being able to serve in the US Armed Forces...
800,000 people died from heart disease, 700,000 from cancer, a millions more from a dozen other things.. everything from car accidents to murders to diabetis and more, in the SAME period covid took 500,000 lives yet the far far majority that get it, either have no major symptoms or fully recover...
And yet now this HUGE decision has been made and come down that if you have or got covid, you are now no longer eligible for serving? I ask again, what the hell are they not telling the public and military alike about this virus? Something does not make sense at all with this entire thing now...

Apparently it was PARTIALLY rescinded.. The first order was blanket.. anyone infected with the thing would be ineligible period.. According to the small link I found, they rescinded and altered the original order so it now states everyone who has been infected will now be evaluated on a "case by case" basis but anyone rejected will never be able to serve....

The long term effects are unknown- once a person is enlisted...some of their health issues become the taxpayers issues. Healthy people have long term effects and the lung issues are expected to always be an issue for these people. We have not heard the last of this by far.

Yea however the problem is this.. eventually EVERY single human will be infected with covid.. just like we are with pretty much every other virus the planet comes up with...
What is more scary to me is those clamoring to take a vaccine that is untested AND where evidence from prior development and testing with animals, shows major major side effects months later.. Anyone can look up the official documents, which I did.. I don't take a vaccine without reading what it is, how it was developed etc.
And I won't be taking this one until 10 years have passed and it is proven safe.. My hope is by then it will be moot and my current natural immunity will have been sufficient.. I was infected mid last year and other than some taste and smell issues for a couple weeks, never had any problems from it.
Anyhow, that's my opinion.. I do think though, way too many are not using some common sense.. especially when you put all of it together.. get the vaccine yet you STILL have to wear a mask, social distance, don't get with family and friends? THAT makes absolutely no sense what so ever.. We want this thing to produce herd immunity but what's being pushed is the opposite of how that happens.
So get the vaccine but don't live your life even after that? Something is very very wrong with this whole situation.. EITHER it is about power and control ... OR worse, there is something about this virus, something going on they do not want to disclose or have the public find out about ....
