Sen. Renee Erickson defended legislation that bans transgender girls and women from sports by saying it was necessary to ensure competitive fairness. - Great! Biology and DNA can't be changed. Men who 'think' they are women will always surpass and defeat women in sports screwing over women.
Regarding the 'trans children' part NO child is intelligent or mature enough to make such life changing decisions let alone understand them. No one knows who they are even into their 20's.
Add the 'trans trenders' to this and the whole group is by their own default causing problems. They want things that are impossible. People are barred from the military all the time and mental instability is one of them. Hormones affect how one thinks and feels and when 'they' can't get them they are unstable. I'm not going to call a man a woman or vice versa. Subjective feelings do not change biology or facts.

I know what most of them mean and 'they' keep adding to them. Those are not sane people.
No one is the other sex b/c of preferences. Men have never gone through female puberty nor will ever know what it's like being a woman. Women have never gone through male puberty and will never know what it's like being a man.
This "I think I am so everyone else MUST pretend to make ME feel better." is selfish and delusional.

Please consider women such as Caster Semenya in this argument of yours. If we're going into genetics and biology, why aren't they testing the hormone levels and genetic deviations such as PCOS? Especially with Florida conducting very invasive body inspections of children for the "sake of safety".
If it's unreasonable to give a chance to allow children to explore their gender on their own, then it should be equally unreasonable to have states that allow the age of consent below 18. Or allow children to speak during a divorce hearing on who they want to live with. Or allowing any children to sign up for the military.
As for "trans tenders", that's an online meme. That's not a valid argument, unless you want to discuss the strawman argument. Such as believing that hormones greatly affect mental stability to the point that you're unstable to be in uniform. I know plenty of male peers and superiors who hold that same belief about how women are too hormonal and mentally unstable to be in the military.
Back on the facts of biology, there are issues. What about those men and women who chromosomes don't match up with the known XY/XX? What about those women wrote born without the ability to menstrate, they just aren't women? What about men who can't produce sperm, not a male?
In regards the being barred from the military sure to mental instability; we have so many in with emotional issues that doesn't conflict with their daily duties. Why would Gender Dysphoria be barred over any other form mental/emotional instability?
