Well Christians did end Slavery in the Western Hemisphere.. I think Christ’s new commandment “Love one another as I have loved you” and do unto others as you would have done unto you”. . It is just a historical fact. I didn’t see atheists doing it!. As a mater of fact the communist of China, incorporating atheism into their philosophy are still practicing slavery.

Capt Gregory Prickett - there is no tenant of Christianity that requires you own slaves. If atheism brings enlightenment as so many of the quotes you post and as Marx posited where was it when 100 million people were killed? Where was the ration is that atheism s supposed to be a part of?

LTC David Brown - Not because of atheism. I've asked you repeatedly what tenet of atheism supported your idiotic assertion, and you have yet to answer, because you can't. All atheism consists of is a lack of belief in a god or gods, meaning that at most, a communist government doesn't believe in gods. Period, end of discussion. Only a moron would continue the argument that atheism has caused all those deaths.

It sure doesn't condemn it that is for sure. It could have easily been one of the ten commandments. Thou shalt not own another human being as property. Easy.
