"The report said, "While Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and others must balance concerns around free expression, it cannot be stated strongly enough that social media platforms must take substantive, meaningful, and far more aggressive action to prioritize the safety of their LGBTQ users and to staunch the epidemic of hate and extremism."

right - because words on the internet from people you have the power to curate yourself, kills people. what a bunch of emotional pansies.

Every social media platform provides you, the user, with the tools to tailor the content you see on it, you can mute, block, report, and ignore "hateful" speech. This is not about "safety", its about censoring views and opinions you do not like. Fuck that shit, and I oppose it.

I have yet to see letters detach themselves from the internet, pick up a weapon, and physically harm anyone.

"what a bunch of emotional pansies."
That expresses your bias exactly.

Nobody should be subjected to hateful, violence speech because of their sexual orientation, race, age, gender, or anything else. The bullies of this world love to hide behind their keyboards, most saying things they would not have the guts to say face to face. Cowards!

MSG Stan Hutchison - YOU have the power to curate your content - I don't care if Lucifer himself is spouting the most vile and hateful speech imaginable, our Constitution, and our courts have determined that it is protected speech. and yes - emotional pansies, who faint at mere words. who think words are violence. If someone is saying shit you do not like, you HAVE the power to mute, and block them. You , as individual, have the choice, do not allow a corporate entity to determine what is or is not hate speech and can be banned, or removed. The slippery slope is real.

SSG Robert Perrotto - 1. The idea that one can say anything is incorrect. All the 1st Amendment says is Congress cannot pass a law regulating speech:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech,"
A private entity Can determine what is acceptable.

2. Words Do have impact. Words Can cause violence.
