Americans it seems to me talk about religion more often than anyone national group I have been in contact with. Near my house with 6 miles on a mountain top in the US Appalachians their are 15 different denominations all with different understandings of biblical verse. I’m “ thinking" what the Councils throughout history tried to do was build some order in all these differences. Maybe? Just like a medical doctor should not be his own medical doctor, maybe it is best to let prayerful biblical experts define the numbers of Gods creatures. Maybe?

Cpl Archie H. Try Hanging Out in Pensacola FL where I trained as a "Spook" I swear there is a "Seminary" on every Other Corner and a Cat House on every Third Corner. When they aren't shoving Religion down your Throat they're seriously partaking in all manner of vices.

The Arian heresy was considered quite important as late as the 16th century. Growing up Lutheran, part of our catechism classes to receive communion was memorizing the Nicene Creed, a stricture straight from old Martin Luther himself. That thing was 3-4 times longer than the Apostles Creed and we hated it.
