Good stuff, I hope it is not happening now. If we are being taught the 1619 project in the US government, anything can happen with this Administration.

MSgt Steve Sweeney I have no problem with discussing Jim Crow, slavery, the k k k being formed and showing how Native Americans were put on a reservation, abused and forced to go to schools in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. The residential school system has been adopted here in Canada as well and it didn't go away till about 20 years ago and they purposely try destroy their identity and their language and force them to learn Christianity and English. But crazy Marxists want to take something like the 1619 project and lie to the people saying that the United States aka the 13 colonies broke away from England to maintain its slave trade? That is total BS. It is very well known that England did not outlaw slavery until 1833 and Canada did not do it until 1834. It is crazy for this Administration to force us into a flawed narrative (that most historians agree is flawed and wrong) that we should feel shame for being a country. President Trump put the executive order for the 1776 project and what did our president do when he took office? he put in the 1619 project. Looking at ourselves and reflecting on how we used to be is okay to a certain point but to use it to say that we are inherently racist is wrong. That's why this space force lieutenant colonel fighting it and I hope he wins! The Democrats in name only party will eventually get its bearing once the leftism makes them lose the House and Senate.

LTC (Join to see) - How do you know it is total BS? While it is true slavery was not officially outlawed in England until 1833, it didn't happen overnight and sentiment in opposition to chattel slavery has been documented as early as 1705in English courts. It isn't like everyone in England was fine with slavery up until August of 1833 and the suddenly changed their mind. There was a specific ruling, in England in 1772, that caused quite a stir in colonial slave owners, and I am curious if you are aware of something called the "Northwest Ordinance" or the discussion around the institution of slavery during the First Continental Congress?

"(that most historians agree is flawed and wrong)" - What evidence do you offer that backs up your claim of "most historians"?

MSgt Steve Sweeney because of the outcry just doing a Google search. Instead, it's force-fed by executive order. It goes against what we learned and our military service. You have some historians, you have even people who follow Leon Trotsky, communist think it's wrong. Look at the Atlantic magazine story on it. Either way, 1776 project is what President Trump put down and that's one of the first things 46 stopped as well President. The u.s. and Canada were from the same group of people and we don't have this kind of BS being taught in their schools and yet this is more of a socialist country. In 1619, you had Spain, England, France, Holland and maybe even Russia fighting over the new world but you didn't have them all have this notion to this day that they're all inherently racist. Garbage in garbage out and we've got nothing but garbage since the president's come in

MSgt Steve Sweeney there are still NG troops and a fence in DC. I have also ‘heard’ of two (maybe more) Democratic run cities which have requested NG assistance because their Police Department isn’t able to handle the increased violent crime. FYI: I am an Independent and a violation of the law is still illegal! If the FBI is careless enough to not ‘dot their “i’s” and cross their “t’s”, then, I have serious issues with that. “Falsification of a Government Document” is a Federal Crime! As former Army ADMIN, and VR for the VA, I am thoroughly aware of this law! It should be more stringently enforced imho MSgt Steve Sweeney

SPC Nancy Greene - Defund the Police will make the NG come back once 25% of the department is gone. They will be stretched too thin and criminals will have a field day especially with DAs that will not prosecute or give bail to violent criminals. https://www.rallypoint.com/shared-links/fast-five-part-3-don-omar-ft-lucenzo-danza-kuduro-music-video-2011-hd?loc=similar_main&pos=5&type=qrc

SPC Nancy Greene - In DC? Ah yes.... Doing a little research, I found out that the NG was deployed in DC, not due to a lack of police funding, but because a mob that had been whipped into a frenzy attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6th with the intent to overturn the results of the 2020 election and murder Mike Pence. Have you heard anything about that? It was shocking for me to find out as well. I looked into a it a bit more and apparently it wasn't a spur of the moment thing, but very intentional and planned with the head mob instigator tweeting out numerous times before January 6th just how "crazy" it was going to be!

It's wrong to do this. However everyone of these fascist outlets needs to be shut down. They don't promote freedom, they promote treason. There is a huge difference.

Doesn't sound like it. You sound like you are leftly sentimental to me. Inherently racist keeps coming up in almost everything I hear on the msm. Even if you don't think 'inherently racist' is being spoken, it really doesn't matter. Whatever term you use it is BS. Yes, there is racism all over this country; just try to walk through a black community as a white person! Yes, the same thing could be said for a black in a white community; but I feel the black person would be safer than the white person.
However that is neither here nor there. If we are as racist as the left wants us all to believe, please explain to me how Oprah is a billionaire, and LeBron, Kobe (was), and other minority sports figures are multi-millionaires; Dr. Carson became a world-renowned neurosurgeon, Chappie James became a general, Kamala is V.P., etc, etc.
If we were as racist as the left pretends, NONE of these people would be where they are/were, no matter their hard work or capabilities. The only racists are the left who continue to lie to their constituents about how much they care for them, but yet do NOTHING to change/rectify the situation that THEY, THE LEFT, made worse. I've been hearing the SAME LINE OF BS since Johnson was president in the '60's.
