The realtor who set up my parents place to be leased out was born in nationalist China and fled to Taiwan with her Chinese kumintang officer father. She told me in 2018 that the Chinese from mainland China were buying up properties around uc-irvine and many parts of Southern California so I wouldn't be surprised if that those same CCP people are going to be buying Donald Trump's properties.

Most of Trumps properties are exempted from current Fire regulations. Trump Tower in NY has no fire sprinkler system (yes, it is true). You get exactly the kind of quality Trump extolls but very few safety features as he built most of his properties via the "art of the deal" which means he excluded items to cut costs unless they were absolutely required by law at the time.
