I think a lot of people freaked out with COVID and so we had a lot of first time gun buyers. Yeah there are some people that like to collect them, but there are a lot of single gun households out there as well.

Part of the spike is related to liberal narratives that condone "mostly peaceful" protest as well liberal DA's soft on crime.

Chicago downtown was looted twice under such poor leadership all the while the Mayor's street where she lived was blocked off and not surprising had a heavy Chicago police presence during the summer of love.

Yes the same cops she claims need to be defunded and or reformed.

An easy way to poke a hole in this narrative is look at the spike in CCW licenses. Why would one person need 17 CCW licenses? They don't.

In IL thi is a result of poor liberal leadership and people not being able to count on a demoralized police force to protect them.

Besides selling a record number of guns last year, our firearms instructor was teaching five CCW classes every week just trying to keep up with the demand from first-time gun buyers. Most of his classes were booked at least a month in advance. Someone was having to reload 9mm ammo so they had something to shoot.

I am now reloading all of my own ammo.

It’s totally ridiculous that they do not want others to have something that they don’t like.
