I watch the first half hour. I think the Renaissance spread out from Turkey after it's fall. But is this guy saying it first started in Bruges? Or is he saying it started in Bruges before the fall of Constantinople? I guess with that horse in Germany he was saying people could do detail work that we weren't used to. I always find it kind of weird when I see medieval paintings and everybody looks like those little people that you used to get with Tonka toys! I guess I'll have to watch the end of this at some point.
