It's interesting that Romania, the Baltic states of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania as well as Poland all have at their 2% requirement. These countries border the new u s s are so they are ready and doing their part while Germany Goofs off. The UK and France are also putting in money as they're supposed to.

President Biden says, America's back! That statement kind of reminds me that he is not the Joe Biden we knew 20 years ago or even 10 years ago. What comes to mind was the poster of Rocky 38 in the sequel airplane 2! LOL
Tomorrow he meets KGB Colonel Vladimir Putin in Geneva.

2 days ago I published a Rally Point survey asking what do you think the Europeans will do with Joe Biden in power and not Donald Trump? This shows that only the Baltic States and France actually put 2% of their GDP towards defense of NATO. Sure, it's voluntary but that's how you maintain your readiness. Germany and Canada have let their militaries fall apart over the last decade.

"Spending money is one thing; spending it well is another." The answer to so many problems!
Simply throwing money at a problem and hoping it makes a good difference is not a solution. There needs to be a good conditional plan, and monitoring with conditions enforced.
